For decades, we have placed great importance on energy efficiency and have developed technologies that help save energy. In 1994, for example, the IMPRESSA 500 was already equipped with an automatic on/off switch to avoid unnecessary electricity consumption. This was followed by technologies such as Energy Save Mode (E.S.M.©) 2004, the Zero-Energy Switch (2007) and energy-saving thermo blocks with optimised efficiency, which heat up more quickly thanks to a lower mass. Naturally, we appreciate our role as pioneers to this day in the field of energy efficiency.

We always incorporate our desire for simple operability in the development of our products. It therefore goes without saying for us that cleaning and maintenance of the automatic coffee machines should also be an easy task. It is precisely these actions that extend the service life of an automatic coffee machine. To create the best possible conditions for minimum effort, we are constantly developing automatic cleaning and maintenance programmes. To this end, we offer original care products tailored exactly to these processes and to the materials used in the machines.

When developing new or existing speciality automatic coffee machines, the aim is to simulate the real operation conditions throughout the entire service life of the machine in as short a time as possible. To make this possible, our experts at the JURA Campus have access to 102 fully-automated test stations. During the endurance tests, cutting-edge sensor technology provides massive volumes of data which are analysed by intelligent software to optimise the machines down to the smallest detail. At the JURA Campus, these processes are digital. The functions and readings of the machines can be consulted in real time 24/7 by all those involved – either at work or via mobile devices. All these efforts are made in order to bring more innovations to market in less time and even greater quality.
